Location and Surroundings

Jackalope is in an excellent location for exploring the Mornington Peninsula’s attractions. It’s close to several renowned wineries, beautiful beaches, and scenic hiking trails.

Why Jackalope?

The Jackalope Hotel on the Mornington Peninsula is named after the mythical creature known as the “Jackalope.” This creature is a jackrabbit with antelope horns, combining real and imaginary elements. The hotel’s owner, Louis Li, chose this name to reflect his vision of creating a unique space where art, design, and hospitality meet.

The hotel’s modern architecture and artistic interiors reflect this theme. The name “Jackalope” captures the spirit of creativity and curiosity, inviting guests to explore a place where fiction and reality blend. This focus on storytelling makes the Jackalope Hotel a unique destination, enhancing the appeal of its luxurious accommodations and scenic location on the Mornington Peninsula.
